Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a HIPPY Tutor. As a HIPPY Tutor, you will work with parents and young children in their homes, providing guidance and support to help them reach their full potential. This is a rewarding position that offers the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* You are a parent or carer who participated in the HIPPY program in the past, or someone who is passionate about early childhood education.
* You will have strong relationships within the local community and be able to work comfortably within client's homes.
* You will have good communication skills, basic administration skills, and the ability to assist with preparation and delivery of parent group meetings.
* You will have an understanding of local Aboriginal culture and a commitment to reconciliation in the local community.
* You will bring enthusiasm and a willingness to learn and develop your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
Benefits
This is a casual position, with 15 hours per week available during the school term. You will be paid a competitive hourly rate, including superannuation. In addition, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in early childhood education, while making a positive impact on the lives of families and communities.
