Technical Writer Role Description:
This role is a crucial part of our document management and digital risk management systems. As a Technical Writer, you will work closely with engineers, technicians, trainers, assessors, and other subject matter experts to translate technical and operational information into clear, user-friendly documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand technical processes and create accurate documentation.
* Review requests from operations frontline and leadership teams to edit and revise documents for clarity, consistency, and compliance.
* Monitor and enhance the quality of technical documentation, including work instructions and digital risk management processes.
* Lead initiatives to improve safety outcomes, process efficiency, and standardization within document and digital risk management systems.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant technical discipline or demonstrated ability in technical writing and digital risk management systems.
* Understanding of safety, compliance, and operational standards in an industrial setting.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other software packages.
* Strong understanding of technical documentation standards and lifecycle management.
* Ability to work autonomously and manage document and digital risk management systems to produce high-quality documentation with key stakeholders in a timely manner.
