Role Overview
WACoA – Cunderdin is seeking to appoint a highly skilled and motivated Health and Physical Education Teacher to deliver Secondary Physical Education courses. The role will involve some General Mathematics teaching.
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging and inclusive Physical Education lessons aligned to the school's Whole College Instructional Model.
* Utilise data to inform planning and assess student progress.
* Co‐operate with colleagues across disciplines to plan and deliver integrated learning experiences.
* Assist in the delivery of General Mathematics lessons and link mathematical concepts with real‐world application.
* Lead and coach teams for competitions and supervise extra‐curricular sporting activities.
* Maintain curriculum, assessments and teaching artefacts that support culturally responsive practice.
Qualifications & Experience
* Qualified as a teacher in Health and Physical Education and General Mathematics (or relevant combination).
* Strong commitment to professional development and reflective practice.
* Demonstrated ability to differentiate curriculum and deliver explicit instruction.
* Experience in coaching sports teams or leading extra‐curricular activities is an advantage.
* Ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with students, parents and staff.

Additional Information
Eligible staff receive a temporary Attraction and Retention Incentive of $3,000 pa, gross – adjusted pro rata for FTE and tenure. Staff must remain employed in the location until the end of the school year to receive the second payment.
