Instrument Technician Role:
As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and availability of surgical instruments and medical equipment.
Responsibilities include:
* Cleaning, disinfection and sterilisation of reusable medical devices
* Conducting quality assurance checks and maintaining accurate documentation
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely delivery of medical devices
* Developing effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Contributing to change management processes and implementing new ideas
* Utilizing basic computer skills to enhance productivity
* Participating in ongoing education and training to improve knowledge and skills
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Certificate IV in Sterilisation Services or equivalent qualification
* Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Flexibility in work locations, including offsite clinics
* Ability to work a rotating roster, including morning and afternoon shifts
