We are seeking an experienced and hands-on HR Advisor to join the team based at our Head Office, South Oakleigh, Melbourne.

The Role

Reporting to the National Human Resources Manager, you will be assisting in support of people leaders nationally across the HR portfolio, including advice and support on HR-related matters, compliance, and culture to support your key internal client base.

About the Position

This role is responsible for:

* Provide advice, coaching, and policy guidance to key stakeholders on employee relations and performance matters
* Build strong partnerships with people leaders
* Assist employees with employment related matters, queries, and resolving issues
* Conduct investigations and resolution of grievances and performance issues
* Interpret legislation, awards, and industrial instruments
* Assist and provide guidance on employee probation management and off-boarding processes
* Support the implementation of a range of frameworks, strategies, and integrations
* Collate people metrics and reporting and provide insights
* Maintain accurate records and information on the HRIS
* Process contracts and assist with employee lifecycle related documentation
* Drive company values to promote a positive culture and engaged workforce
* Assist with ad hoc based projects, communications, and rollouts

About your Experience:

To ensure your success, you will possess the following.

* Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related field highly regarded
* Experienced in a multi-site complex blue and white collar unionizedenvironment
* Strong knowledge and understanding of NES, FWA, Awards, and employment laws
* Experience in preparing HR metrics and reporting
* Experienced in HRIS (i.e., ActionHRM or similar) and integration projects
* Knowledge across full employee lifecycle
* Demonstrated stakeholder management, including the ability to build trust within your internal stakeholder groups
* Intermediate to advanced Microsoft/excel skills, including formulas essential
