Join our Property Assets team and help deliver quality capital works and maintain the assets that keep our municipality running. We’re seeking a proactive Technical & Administration Support Officer to coordinate project administration, support maintenance activities, liaise with contractors and keep our documentation tight, compliant and on schedule.

You’ll be the operational backbone—supporting the efficient delivery of our capital works program and maintenance services, ensuring works meet required standards, comply with regulations, and are delivered within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).

About The Role

In this role you will;

Keep programs moving: Support the efficient delivery of capital works and maintenance programs.Own the admin engine: Maintain accurate records, files and databases; prepare reports; collate statistics; process invoices and manage correspondence.Coordinate logistics: Schedule works, organise meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, book travel and site visits.Stakeholder coordination: Liaise with contractors, builders, suppliers and internal teams to support timely, compliant delivery of works.Contractor support: Maintain engagement documentation, track performance and ensure compliance with regulatory, statutory and safety requirements.Monitor delivery: Assist in tracking maintenance and project progress to ensure quality standards and SLA timeframes are met.Plan and prioritise: Balance competing tasks to minimise operational disruption and support efficient service delivery.Research & reporting: Conduct research, compile information and provide administrative support to Management and staff.Continuous improvement: Identify and contribute to process, system and service enhancements.

What You’ll Bring

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Diploma in Business (Administration) or equivalent, plus experience in a professional office environment.High proficiency in Microsoft Office, electronic recordkeeping, and enterprise systems (e.g. TechnologyOne).Strong organisational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail.Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.Proven ability to work effectively as part of a small, collaborative team.Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.

Position Details

full-time (76 hours fortnight).
