Job Description:
A Community Care Support Officer will provide administration and data collection support across all community services programs within the North Zone. The role involves providing overall office support to all staff in communities working with people supported by various programs, ensuring tasks are performed efficiently, professionally, and within deadlines.

The successful candidate will work in accordance with Council Regional Plans, policies, relevant legislation, and funding requirements, reporting directly to the Community Care Zone Manager - North.

Key Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative and data collection support across all community services programs
* Ensure tasks are performed efficiently, professionally, and within deadlines
* Prepare delegated word processing tasks such as letters, memos, case notes, training materials, reports, and prepare photocopying, collation, and binding of materials or reports as required
* Maintain Community Care Registers, including Chemical Register, PPE Register, Visitor Sign in/out Register, and appropriate suppliers and stock list for ordering of client consumables and equipment
* Record Community Service Staff Meeting minutes and distribute to staff in a timely manner, including providing weekly update/meeting notes to the Community Care Zone Manager North on progress of actions

The ideal candidate should possess excellent interpersonal communication skills, the ability to multitask, negotiate, and problem-solve professionally. They should be adaptable, flexible, and capable of meeting deadlines, making them a perfect fit for our dynamic team environment.

The candidate should have extensive experience in performing administrative tasks, coordinating, and facilitating, as well as well-developed communication and negotiation skills and the ability to be sensitive. They should also be able to work in a challenging, culturally diverse environment and respect the values, customs, preferences, and beliefs of participants and their families.
