Supply Chain Manager Role
This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to create forecasts and develop strategies for inventory management.
* Analyze incoming demand, identify order exceptions, misalignment with product rationalization strategies, and opportunities to utilize existing inventory effectively.
* Plan and schedule order timelines to align with customer requirements while minimizing inventory and shipping costs.
* Perform various material management analyses, forecasts, aged inventory, aged purchase orders, in-transit material analysis, safety stock, etc.
* Monitor levels of safety stock, global and aging inventory, and work with regions and manufacturing plants to address accordingly.
* Work to ensure new assets, repaired assets, and spares are captured within the Sales & Operations Planning process.
Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in supply chain or equivalent.
* At least 5 years' experience in order management, inventory optimization, and asset utilization.
* Demonstrate a basic understanding of SAP and MRP functionality.
* Ability to influence stakeholders and provide tactical execution with a sense of urgency.
