Job Opportunity
* We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to fill a pivotal role in providing a safe and secure environment for staff, patients, visitors, and the public.
* The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of buildings, facilities, and equipment while promoting awareness of security protocols.
* This includes being trained across all areas of Security operations, including access control, patient watch, and shift allocations.
* The successful candidate will also maintain accurate logs of incidents and security breaches, investigate suspicious circumstances, and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
* Additional responsibilities include providing transportation of patients throughout the health service as required, including after hours.
* The successful candidate will also monitor CCTV systems, process staff identification cards, and allocate access provisions.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Certificate II in Security & Crowd Control, current Security Guard Licence, Working with Children Check, and National Police Certificate are essential requirements.
* Experience in a security environment, proficiency in administrative tasks, and computer skills are highly desirable.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to negotiate and interact effectively with others are critical for success in this role.
* Interpersonal skills, including team work and problem-solving are essential qualities for this position.
