3. Salary ranges from $129,464 to $142,665 p.a. plus superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

The IT Procurement Operations support role provides procurement expertise and guidance to business areas, ensuring the purchase of IT products and services is cost-effective, efficient and compliant with NSW government procurement policies and procedures.

Your responsibilities will include:

4. Drafting procurement related correspondence, briefings and contracts.
5. Compliance to the ICT Services Scheme
6. Tracking and monitoring the progress of procurement requests to ensure timely delivery and maintain business continuity.
7. Collaborate with various teams and units to ensure purchasing needs are met
8. Engaging with Suppliers to assist with contract execution and contract information

About you

As the IT Procurement Operations support, you will have proven end-to-end ICT Procurement experience and strong understanding of ICT services scheme. You are an effective communicator with exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, able to provide advice and influence stakeholders to achieve timely outcomes. You will have:

9. Knowledge and understanding of NSW Government Procurement frameworks, policies and principals.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly in excel where lookup functionality is required for tracking and reporting.
11. Experience using Portt or similar procurement platforms.

Key knowledge and experience

12. Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department's Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department's Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.

Essential requirements of the role

13. Tertiary qualifications or substantial relevant procurement experience within Government, preferably within an ICT environment
14. Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.

Renewal is not required after the WWCC expires, as long as you remain in a non–child-related role. Employer obligations only apply while the WWCC is valid.
