Traffic Management Planner (TTMP)
We're looking for a couple of sharp Temporary Traffic Management Planners who actually understand how worksites run, not just how to tick boxes.
This role suits someone who can look at a job, picture it on the ground, and design traffic management plans that are practical, compliant and safe for crews and the public. You'll be working closely with field teams, councils and contractors, so common sense and clear communication matter as much as technical skills. What you'll be doing
* Preparing and reviewing Temporary Traffic Management Plans (TMPs) for civil, road and utility works
* Making sure all plans meet Austroads, AS 1742, DIT and local authority requirements
* Liaising with councils, road authorities, project managers and site supervisors
* Adjusting plans when reality changes on site (because it always does)
* Supporting crews with practical advice, not just paperwork
* Keeping documentation accurate, current and approval-ready
What we're looking for
* Demonstrated experience as a Traffic Management Planner (desirable)
* Strong working knowledge of Australian traffic management standards and guidelines
* Relevant accreditation (e.g. TMI / TMD / TTMP or recent engineering graduate)
* Ability to work at pace without cutting corners
* Clear communicator who can push back when something isn't safe or workable
