Southern Cross Care has an exciting opportunity for casual Personal Carers to join our care teams working across our Residential Aged Care Homes in Broken Hill.
About the role
Join our team as a Personal Carer and embrace our holistic approach to care, building cherished relationships with our residents based on dignity and respect.
Under the leadership of the Enrolled & Registered Nurses, you will demonstrate sensitivity and maturity to provide personal care to our residents, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and other support services depending on the individual resident's needs.
You will be part of a compassionate and dedicated team providing the highest standard of person-centred care to our residents. You'll join a care team where compassion and empathy accompany the delivery of exceptional clinical and personal care every day.
What will you bring to the role?
* Hold a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent (desirable)
* Medication Assist Competency (desirable)
* Understanding of Aged Care and Residents' rights and responsibilities
* Dedication to caring for older people to live their best lives
* Teamwork skills and a friendly, approachable manner
* Strong attention to detail and outstanding communication skills
* Flexibility with availability of days and shift times
