Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Motor Mechanic to join our team. This is a full-time opportunity to work with various makes and models of vehicles, including cars, 4WDs, caravans, trailers, boats, and light trucks.
* Detect and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in engines and parts.
* Dismantle and remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components, checking parts for wear and tear.
* Repair and replace worn and defective parts, reassembling mechanical components and referring to service manuals as needed.
* Perform scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups, to ensure smooth vehicle operation and compliance with pollution regulations.
Candidates must possess strong time management skills and the ability to work under pressure, have good interpersonal and communication skills, and be able to work effectively as part of a team. A Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis or equivalent experience is required, with a minimum one year of experience in a similar position preferred.
