Company Overview
A rare opportunity as a result of growth. Our privately owned boutique fund manager client has a 20 year track record, excellent performance and strong growth in assets with AUM over $2.5 billion. With offices in Melbourne and Sydney and the investment and operations functions in Collins Street it is looking for a new colleague to grow their skills while utilising their existing experience in equity operations.

The role would work closely with C-Suite, Sales and Marketing and Investments teams on a daily basis.
The Business Management Team covers operations, fund administration, finance and compliance and is a small team of very experienced professionals with a flat team-based structure reporting to the Head of Compliance and Operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Investment Operations for global equities, exchange traded options and cash for five funds domiciled in Australia and the Caymans.
* Trade lifecycle management including engagement with in house investment managers, brokers, clearer, prime broker, custodians and administrators
* Cash, ETF and FX instructions
* Reconciliations, trade matching, instruction management,
* Engagement with service providers re straight through processing, automation etc
* Work with colleagues to enhance automation, reporting, controls etc
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role you will require:
* 2-10 years' relevant experience within a similar fund ennvironment
* Experience in equity operations, preferably international equities, FX and exchange traded options
* Experience at a Fund Manager is preferred but candidates from broking or custody are encouraged to apply
* International experience is highly regarded
* Optional experience includes fund administration, data management process improvement and automation, performance
* Systems used include Bloomberg, Eze, Factset, FXConnect
