Opportunity
SEE Group has a great career opportunity for an experienced Human Resources professional to join our highly professional and skilled People and Culture team. This diverse and fast‐paced role works on a significant civil/mining project based in Orange, NSW. This full‐time FIFO position is on an 8/6 roster travelling from Brisbane to Orange, or for those locally based, a similar roster applies. Your knowledge of contemporary human resources will allow you to build on our established processes and influence managers while advocating and supporting our positive culture, showcasing your HR generalist skills in a practical environment.
Responsibilities
* Providing support and guidance for the day‐to‐day operations of the People and Culture function on a project site
* Providing guidance on policies, procedures, and industrial relations to managers on various people & culture matters
* Collaborating with stakeholders on organisational capability, diversity, leadership, and change initiatives
* Coordinating employee onboarding and supporting the Talent Acquisition Team with recruitment as required
* Coordinating the performance review process
Essential Skills and Attributes
* Human Resources or related business degree or diploma
* Understanding of different industrial instruments, including Enterprise Agreements, Modern Awards and Australian Legislation
* Capability to work within a team effectively
* Intermediate MS Office skills
* Strong stakeholder management and customer service focus
* Problem analysis and decision making abilities
* Ability to work in a fast‐paced environment and meet strict deadlines
* Strong understanding of the importance of confidentiality and professionalism
* Proven experience dealing with internal stakeholders and strong communication skills
