Position Overview
Swissôtel Sydney is seeking a Full Time Reservations Agent to join our dedicated Reservations team based onsite at the hotel.
Responsibilities
* Managing all communication regarding reservations for the Hotel.
* Exhibit high sales performance and maximise all sales leads by ensuring close of sale, and up‐selling and cross‐selling opportunities.
* Maintain a positive selling approach to maximise yield in both occupancy and rates.
* Administration of reservations, including maintaining an exact filing system.
Qualifications
* Ability to demonstrate and deliver luxury service.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Robust organisational, customer service and problem solving skills.
* Ability to multi‐task and manage prioritising demands.
* Ability to work onsite on full‐time basis.
* Have full working right in Australia.
* Ability to work on some Saturdays when required.
Additional Information
* Previous experience in a similar role and familiarity with Opera PMS or Opera Cloud are not mandatory but will be advantageous.
