**Role**:
Part of one of the highest performing verticals of the business, in this role you will be the primary point of contact for a global key FMCG client (home and personal care products). You will co-ordinate and execute export logistics processes (ocean and air). You will focus on building strong relationships and collaborate with the client's key logistic stakeholders such as supply & demand planners, transport & shipping agents to ensure optimal operational performance of client's supply chain.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Identify and implement solutions in conjunction with your Client's SOPs, aimed at continuous improvements within the team, including best practice sharing
- Following up on orders from overseas offices
- Client SOP compliance
- Close coordination with GSC as per client IOPs
- Ensure accurate registration of shipments in Operating System
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of PRAs and EDNs
- Accurate and timely bookings with carriers based on client set rates and contracts
- Evaluate and maintain product processing lead times and create solutions for discrepancies in lead times; reorganise product process to increase efficiencies
- Follow up on purchase orders
- Creation of stock orders in SAP with release to DCs to ensure timely loading of containers
- Timely preparation of documentation and submission to overseas offices and relevant stakeholders
**You**:
- Are a self-driven logistics professional who thrives working in entrepreneurial environments in which personal and professional development is a key focus
- Strong knowledge of export processes and the required documentation for FMCG goods (perishable goods, dangerous goods, refrigerated cargo...)
- Have a strong understanding of the outbound replenishment processes for FMCG goods
- Experienced working in supply chain AND/OR freight forwarding environments
- Are a highly relationship-driven personality who derives satisfaction from building and maintaining strong customer relationships
- Experienced at PO (purchase order) management (from end to end)
- Relevant qualifications within Supply Chain Management or similar (advantageous)
