We’re hiring: E-Learning Officer
The Disability Advocacy Network Australia (DANA) is seeking an E-Learning Officer to design and deliver accessible online training for the disability advocacy sector through the National Centre for Disability Advocacy (NCDA).
As our E-Learning Officer, you’ll create high-quality online courses and resources, manage our Moodle-based LMS, and contribute to webinars, peer networks, and sector events. Your work will help build the skills and capacity of disability advocates across Australia.

About the role
You’ll be part of the NCDA team, building evidence-based, practical training for advocates and organisations. Your work will include:
- Designing and maintaining e-learning modules using Open LMS (Moodle-based) and content authoring tools
- Supporting and facilitating webinars, peer networks, and professional development events
- Developing accessible guides, factsheets, and online resources
- Collaborating with colleagues, stakeholders, and working groups to co-design resources
- Contributing to NCDA communications, including newsletters and video content
About you
You’re committed to the rights of people with disability and have experience creating engaging, accessible online learning for adults. You bring strong instructional design skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a remote setting.
We’d love to hear from you if you have:
- Relevant qualifications in education, training, e-learning or a related field
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering online training and resources
- Proficiency in content authoring tools and learning management systems
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Confidence working independently in a remote team environment
We also welcome:
- Experience in a peak body, representative or non-profit organisation
- Understanding of disability issues and the advocacy sector
- Lived experience as a person with disability

Role details
- Employment type: Fixed-term contract to 30 June 2026, with possible renewal (funding dependent)
- Hours: Part-time, 0.6–0.8 FTE
- Location: Remote, work from home anywhere in Australia
- Classification: SCHADS Award Level 5.1
