Nepean is currently seeking Trade Qualified hands-on CNC Machinists to join our teams at our New South Wales (NSW) and Queensland (QLD) manufacturing facilities.
The CNC Machinist will be responsible for the set-up and programming of large CNC machines including borers, mills and lathes for jobbing work, while operating a range of controllers and reading and understanding engineering drawings for precision machining.
This role requires the CNC Machinist to work to ISO**** standards, checking and maintaining quality, filling out check sheets.
To be successful you must have a proven track record of achievement in a similar role and ideally have extensive experience within the industrial, mining or manufacturing industries.
Additional requirements: a self-starter, reliable, punctual, a team player familiar with using safe working methods and with high attention to detail.
This role will provide you the opportunity to work with the best engineering, drafting and fabricating team in the business.
You will also be provided full training on NEPEAN systems to ensure an effective transition.
