Swan Valley Anglican Community School is a vibrant co-educational school offering high-quality holistic education from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English teacher to join our dynamic Secondary School team in 2026. Reporting to the Head of English, the successful candidate will be an innovative educator with a proven ability to engage and inspire students across Years 7 to 12.
As part of a collaborative and enthusiastic English Department, you will contribute to a culture that values literature, fosters critical thinking, and supports academic excellence. About You
* A Bachelor of Education (or equivalent) and current TRBWA registration
* Ability to teach ATAR English (an advantage)
* Demonstrated experience teaching English across Years 7 to 12
* Strong knowledge of the Western Australian English curriculum
* Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
* Understanding of assessment strategies and data-informed instruction
* Collaborative approach to curriculum planning and professional development
* Willingness to support the Mission, Vision and Ethos and Core Values of Swan Valley Anglican Community School
