This
ONCE IN A LIFETIME**
Indirect Procurement Manager is responsible for leading and optimising the procurement of non-construction (indirect) goods and services across Metricon Homes' national operations. This includes categories such as corporate services, IT, marketing, fleet, professional services, facilities management, and operational support.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, your responsibilities will include:
* Compile and maintain a comprehensive spend diagnostic for Metricon Indirect expenditure
* Develop and implement process and procedures that enable effective management of Indirect expenditure and ensure best practice procurement is being maintained at all times
* Develop and maintain category plans for all Indirect expenditure
* Develop a category review program to review and analyse existing categories and contracts on a cyclical basis
* Assess demand management opportunities for reduction in Indirect expenditure
* Deliver cost reductions and total cost of ownership value outcomes to Metricon; and
* Build robust, mutually respectful relationships with all key stakeholders across various areas of the business.

The successful candidate will have:
* MUST HAVE A Minimum 5 years experience in a procurement or category management. Ideally in Indirect
* Tertiary qualifications in Procurement, Business, Supply Chain, or a related discipline
* Experience in construction, property, or manufacturing industries
* Strong experience managing indirect procurement categories (corporate services, IT, fleet, professional services, marketing, facilities) in a large multi-site organisation
* Proven negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills
* Excellent analytical, financial, and problem-solving capabilities; and
* Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across multiple business units.
