E&I Program Manager

Key Responsibilities
* Focus on delivery to clients, building strong relationships and ensuring the successful completion of key energy projects across Australia.
* Build and execute a clear growth strategy for our E&I offering into high‐growth markets (electrification, renewables, industrial decarbonisation, grid connections, BESS, instrumentation). Convert that strategy into wins and delivery through business development, proposal leadership, and program‐level project management.
* Lead bids and oversee delivery across a portfolio of projects, ensuring safety, quality, and commercial outcomes.
* Market strategy and business development: develop an E&I growth strategy across target sectors, clients, and regions, lead client engagement, drive bid plans and win strategy.
* Proposals and tender leadership: lead end‐to‐end proposal development, support commercial negotiations, contract transitions, and handover from bid to delivery.
* Program management and project delivery: grow the team, mentor and develop existing E&I staff, own programme governance across multiple projects, establish core controls (weekly reporting, risk & opportunity management, action registers, change management, variation/TQ/RFI processes), provide clear reporting to leadership and clients, and mentor project managers and engineers.
Qualifications
* Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering.
* Strong experience across E&I delivery in heavy industry, utilities, energy, infrastructure, resources or similar complex brownfield environments.
* Demonstrated capability across business development and proposal writing, plus programme or project management delivery.
* High‐calibre communication skills with the confidence to influence clients, lead tender teams, and align multidisciplinary stakeholders.
* Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
* RPEQ or CPEng.
* Experience leading bids for EPC/EPCM‐style scopes and exposure to electrical, protection, HV/MV integration, commissioning or operations interfaces.
