About the Role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Logistic Support Administrator to join our team. This role is essential in managing our shipping container operations, ensuring a timely and efficient movement of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
* Obtain and manage quotations from shipping lines and airlines.
* Coordinate with customs brokers and shipping lines for smooth operations.
* Track and report on shipment status regularly and notify stakeholders of any delays in shipments.
* Update and maintain shipment schedules and statuses.
* Arrange payment for local charges with shipping lines.
* Oversee and coordinate metro deliveries and keep project tracking reports current and accurate.
* Ad hoc duties such as generating and distributing weekly reports to accounting, warehouse, and other relevant departments.
Must-Have Attributes:
* Minimum of 1+ year experience in logistics or related field.
* Strong customer service skills.
* Basic understanding of import sea and air processes.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
* Exceptional record-keeping abilities.
