This is an exciting opportunity for a Scientist to join our team, where you will be responsible for performing a range of tasks, including routine Biochemistry procedures, recording results, and maintaining current scientific knowledge.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Biochemistry, as well as the ability to work independently and infrequently supervised.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement and the development of new assays, as well as participate in training staff and liaising with internal and/or external stakeholders regarding test results or referrals.

* Performing all routine Biochemistry procedures
* Recording of results in line with protocols
* Maintaining current scientific knowledge
* Participation in both routine and audit related Quality Assurance activities
* Contributing to continuous improvement and the development of new assays as required
3. Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Demonstrated knowledge, expertise and skills within Biochemistry
* Sound knowledge of QC, QAP and troubleshooting
* Ability to identify, develop and implement quality and service improvement activities in accordance with NATA/ISO accreditation/certification
