About the Role:
PTH Low Loaders are expanding, and we're looking for experienced Heavy Haulage Float Driver - 4x4 + Dolly Driver to help us move heavy machinery and other goods across Queensland and interstate. If you're ready to make the move and want long‐term, stable work in a booming industry – this is your opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate prime movers with 4x4 + dolly for oversize and overmass transport
* Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain logbooks
* Secure and check loads in accordance with load restraint and CoR requirements
* Work with traffic escorts and pilot vehicles as needed
* Communicate effectively with the transport coordinator and site teams
* Ensure full compliance with fatigue management and NHVR regulations
What We're Looking For:
* Proven experience with 4x4 dolly and float operations
* Strong understanding of heavy haulage permits, load restraint, and road rules
* Willingness and flexibility to travel interstate as required
* Ability to work independently with a strong safety focus
* Civil or construction transport experience highly regarded
* MSIC Card required (wharf access)
