The Role
The Senior Brand Manager is responsible for driving the execution of brand strategies across one or more brands in the MADE Group portfolio (e.g. Cocobella, Rokeby, Impressed, NutrientWater). This role owns the development and execution of brand plans, including NPD launches, media and creative delivery, social and influencer activity, and key retailer engagement.
This is a high-impact role in a fast-paced business known for its agility, ambition and culture of ownership. It will suit a marketer who is highly motivated, proactive and thrives in an environment where initiative is expected. Exceptional project leadership, stakeholder engagement, and commercial acumen are essential.
This role is ideal for someone looking to lead high-impact brand growth strategies across the full marketing mix and contribute meaningfully to brands with real momentum.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand & Campaign Execution
* Own execution of campaigns across all relevant touchpoints.
* Lead creative and media delivery across owned, earned and paid channels.
* Drive content, influencer, creator, partnerships and sampling activity in collaboration with the digital and partnerships team members.
* Lead annual 12-month brand planning process.
* Ensure all brand activity aligns with brand positioning.
New Product Development
* Project manage NPD delivery, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
* Lead NPD launch execution, including campaign development and GTM execution
* Contribute to post-launch reviews and continuous improvement cycles
* Lead execution of major customer activation in collaboration with Sales.
* Drive the creation of trade materials including trade presenters, POS, and retail-ready assets in partnership with the Marketing Coordinator and Senior Graphic Designer.
* Lead the marketing component of retailer engagement to deliver successful NPD sell in and optimise ranging.
* Apply relevant consumer insights to inform brand plans and campaign execution.
* Stay connected to relevant consumer behaviours, attitudes and motivations .
* Identify opportunities to connect with target audiences through insight-led storytelling.
* Collaborate with Portfolio Marketing Manager and agencies to develop, deliver and interpret research and track brand sentiment.
Budget Management & Reporting
* Manage brand budget.
* Track campaign KPIs and brand health metrics in collaboration with the PMM and Digital teams.
* Provide regular reporting on campaign performance and key learnings.
* Stay across emerging consumer and category trends relevant to your brand
* Monitor competitor activity and share key insights with the broader team
* Identify opportunities for brand differentiation within the category
* Input into response strategies for brand-level challenges or disruptions
Team & Stakeholder Leadership
* Coach one direct report, building marketing capabilities.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute with excellence.
* Build relationships with partners, agencies, and stakeholders.
Experience & Qualifications
* 6 - 8+ years' experience in FMCG or consumer brand marketing
* Strong exposure to brand planning, NPD execution, media and creative development
* Experience working with cross-functional teams and agency partners
* Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field
