About the Role
JAX Tyres & Auto Nowra is excited to welcome a new, experienced wheel alignment technician to their friendly team. In this role, you will use your expertise to correct steering alignment on all light vehicle makes and models, while working in a well-equipped and safety-first workshop. You will work closely with motor mechanics, tyre technicians and sales staff to deliver the best service to our valued customers, ensuring everyone leaves our store with peace of mind driving. Your main day-to-day tasks would include:
- Identifying vehicle stability issues
- Checking and servicing steering systems and suspension
- Accurately adjusting wheel alignments and conducting post alignment checks
- Providing your expert advice and reporting potentially dangerous risks of your customer’s vehicles
- Safely operating hoists and conducting road tests
About you
- You have a current, valid qualification for this role
- Must have experience in wheel aligning
- You are an excellent problem-solver and pay attention to detail
- You can work cooperatively in a team environment, but also confidently when unsupervised
- Excellent communication skills when dealing with customers and team members
- Knowledge and compliance of work health and safety practices

**Salary**: $20.00 - $60.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Nowra, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
**Experience**:
- Leadership: 1 year (preferred)
- Retail management: 1 year (preferred)
Work Authorisation:
- Australia (preferred)
