You'll play a key role in delivering high‐quality secondary and primary testing and commissioning activities across hydro power stations, substations, and switchyards. You will contribute to major project delivery, support change and innovation, and help cultivate a strong safety culture.
* Mentor and coach team members, undertake technical reviews, and apply sound professional judgement across varied and complex work environments.
* Prepare estimates and assist with proposal development for major internal and external projects, while supporting sales activities and capability development across the Grid & Power Group.

Qualifications
* Minimum 6 years' experience in testing and commissioning secondary and primary systems, controls, protection and metering schemes.
* Strong experience with Omicron CMC256 and Test Universe.
* Ability to work independently, solve complex technical problems and apply strong professional judgement.
* High‐level written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong computing capability and proficiency using automated protection test sets.

Technical Officer – Design Drafter – Primary Electrical
We're looking for fun‐loving professionals that think outside the box and find smarter ways to get things done. The role involves designing and drafting primary electrical layouts for substations and switchyards.
* Opportunity to work on diverse projects including wind, solar, battery storage, pumped hydro and utility works (transmission and distribution substations, switchyards and lines).
* Use 2D or 3D CAD software (Autodesk Inventor, Microstation, Solidworks or other).
* Collaborate with engineering direction to generate design concepts and drawings.
* Work with and actively contribute to an effective and experienced team to further develop your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications
* Good working knowledge with 2D or 3D CAD software.
* Minimum 1 year of experience.
* Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting or equivalent (or higher).
* Previous experience in an engineering design consultancy environment preferred.
* Previous experience working on electrical utility projects.
* Experience in Primary Electrical layout design (substations and switchyards).
* 2D Civil foundation design and detailing.
* 2D Structural design and detailing.

Senior Hydrologist

* Lead and manage a broad range of hydrological projects related to natural systems, storages, spillways, dams, weirs, hydroelectric power schemes, and renewable energy infrastructure.

Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in civil or environmental engineering, science or hydrology.
* 7–15 years of relevant post‐graduation experience.

Senior Electrical Engineer (Power Systems)
As a Senior Electrical Engineer (Power Systems) you will lead field testing and commissioning activities for secondary systems, ensuring compliance, safety and quality standards, while supporting business development and project management.
* Review work of more junior team members providing technical support.
* Maintain relationships with existing clients and serve as the interface between Entura and the respective client.
* Act as the technical lead for connection application studies, Generator Performance Standards (GPS) compliance assessments, model overlays and model validation in PSSE and PSCAD.
* Project management of smaller projects.
Qualifications
* 7+ years' experience.
* Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
* Primarily experience in grid connections, GPS compliance assessments, power system studies.
* Undertaken testing either on site or virtually (e.g. via Teams screenshare) desirable but not essential.
* Ideally CPEng, RPEQ or RPEV credentials.
* Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot independently (software PSSE, PSCAD, Python, etc.).
* Modelling software experience using PSSE, PSCAD, Powerfactory, SINCAL, Python and Matlab.
