Job description:Senior Project Lead$148,113 per annum + 11.5% superannuationFull time, fixed term opportunity until 30 June 2026 – Multiple roles available!Wadawurrung / Geelong based role (hybrid, work from home – 3 days a week in office)About the opportunityMultiple opportunities available for experienced Senior Project Leadsto join the Return to Work Victoria (RTWV) team at WorkSafe on a 12-month fixed term basis. This is a dynamic and purpose-driven role where you’ll lead and deliver projects that make a real difference to the recovery journey of injured workers across the Victorian workers compensation scheme.Working within a high-impact environment, you'll drive initiatives that span health, compensation, premium, and self-insurance, with a strong focus on strategic improvement across people, process, and systems. You will work closely with business leaders and key stakeholders to identify, design, and implement changes that support both scheme outcomes and WorkSafe’s broader strategic objectives. This role also includes elements of business analysis and change management, providing a flexible and hands-on project delivery experience.Key accountabilities include:Lead and deliver strategic projectsacross RTWV by applying project management, business analysis, and change management disciplines to support transformation and scheme outcomes.Develop business cases and conduct in-depth analysisto identify improvement opportunities, assess risks, and make data-driven recommendations aligned with strategic goals.Engage and influence key stakeholders, including internal leadership and external partners, to ensure successful project delivery and adoption of change.Adapt project methodologyto suit the size and scope of initiatives, ensuring alignment with WorkSafe’s frameworks and operational priorities.Contribute to continuous improvementby supporting cross-functional initiatives, scheme performance reviews, and policy or process enhancements.Please ensure you review the Position Description herefor additional information on accountabilities for this role.About youYou are a skilled and agile project leader who thrives on driving change and delivering results in complex environments. With experience managing medium to large-scale projects, you’re confident working with senior stakeholders and leading cross-functional teams to deliver meaningful outcomes.
