Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to fill the role of Assistant Director in our childcare facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Centre, mentoring educators and staff, and promoting positive relationships with children, families, and the community.

About the Role

This is a dynamic and challenging opportunity for a seasoned professional to lead and manage a team of dedicated early childhood educators. The Assistant Director will work closely with the Centre Director to implement strategies that promote excellence in early childhood education and care.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversight of centre operations, including budget management, occupancy growth, staffing, and team development
* Mentoring and supporting educators and other staff in their daily practices
* Promoting positive relationships with children, families, staff, and the community

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, leadership abilities, and a passion for creating a positive educational environment where children can thrive.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess:

* Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood
* Management experience within an Early Childhood service
* Extensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Framework
* Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of experienced and committed early childhood professionals
* Excellent communication skills, proven within an early childhood educative setting

A Blue Card (Working with Children Check) and current First Aid + CPR Certificates (or willingness to obtain) are also essential requirements.
