Job Title:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time opportunity with excellent potential for career growth and development.
About the Role:
* Develop manufacturing strategies and lead operational benchmarking
* Liaise with design engineers to improve product design and assembly methodologies
* Connect and conduct calibration and testing of products
* Address quality issues promptly and work with relevant teams to resolve them
* Design and engineer specialized components, equipment, and systems to improve build consistency, quality, and performance
* Manage suppliers and contractors to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of goods and services
* Prepare and monitor project costing to ensure projects are delivered within scope
* Travel domestically and internationally to support projects and supplier engagement
* Perform research and development on new products and rapid prototyping
Requirements:
* Minimum of three years' work experience in a design and manufacturing environment
* Experience and knowledge in designing products to Australian Standards
* Must have experience in Structural Design software (SolidWorks is an advantage)
* Experience in ISO compliance
* Strong supplier management and budgeting skills
* Current Driver's License and reliable transport
* Ability to travel when required
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and troubleshoot
* A proactive, creative mindset with strong initiative
* Confidence, flexibility, and resilience to work in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times
* Ability to both follow and create workflow processes
* Experience with Australian and International patents (highly valued but not essential)
* RPEQ certification (desired but not required)
Work Details:
* Hours: 7:30am to 4pm, Monday to Friday
* Location: Gold Coast
