Full‑time | Executive Package | Leadership Role in Community Services
The Tully Support Centre (TSC) is a long‑standing, community‑based organisation providing essential social services, counselling, emergency relief, family support, and community development programs across the Cassowary Coast in Far North Queensland.

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and community‑minded CEO to lead the organisation into its next exciting phase of growth and stability.
This role is ideal for a values‑driven leader with strong skills in governance, service delivery, stakeholder engagement, and financial management.

Responsibilities Lead the strategic direction, operations, and performance of TSC
Manage government‑funded programmes delivered across the region
Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and funding requirements
Build strong partnerships with government, local services, and the community
Oversee budgets, reporting, acquittals, risk, and quality improvement
Provide leadership to staff and foster a positive, supportive workplace culture
Act as the public face of the organisation Desired Attributes & Qualifications Experienced in community services, human services, or the not‑for‑profit sector
Confident in managing funded programmes and meeting reporting obligations
Skilled in governance, strategic planning, and organisational development
Able to lead and mentor staff professionally and compassionately
Strong in stakeholder engagement, communication, and advocacy
Knowledgeable about risk management, compliance, and WHS
Positive, resilient, community‑focused, and committed to ethical practice
Current Working with Children (Blue Card) (or ability to obtain)
National Police Check
Unrestricted Driver's Licence
Ability to meet the demands of occasional out‑of‑hours work for meetings, events, emergencies, or community engagement
Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and TSC's mission Reporting Relationships Reports to: Management Committee and is directly supervised by the President
Supervises: All TSC staff, contractors, volunteers
Liaises with: Government departments, partner organisations, community stakeholders, funders, clients Employment Details
Employment Type: Executive Contract (2 years with options to extend up to 5 years, subject to funding and performance reviews)
Salary Range: $125,000 pa – $145,000 pa base (negotiable depending on qualifications and experience), plus superannuation, annual leave loading and salary sacrifice benefits
