ADF Health Services provides integrated healthcare services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel across Australia. As part of this contract, Serco, in partnership with Bupa, provides defence-ready clinical and support staff across 50+ on-base locations nationally, ensuring that ADF personnel have access to quality on-site medical care.
About the Role
You will be responsible for providing chair-side assistance to the Dentist/Dental Specialist/Hygienist in the delivery of dental services to patients. You will also assist with administrative tasks such as entering/updating patient records as well as other duties as required by the Dentist, including promotion of oral health to patients and maintaining optimal hygiene of the surgery.

Maintain optimal hygiene of the surgery.
Qualifications
The highest levels of personal integrity and ethical behaviour.
Certificate III in Dental Assisting or nationally recognised equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 2 years (full time equivalent) experience within the last 5 years.
Recent participation in Continuing Professional Development (CPD) activities.
Current First Aid (HLTAID011) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team to support the delivery of safe, efficient and high-quality care.
About Kuttabul Health Centre
Kuttabul Health Centre is located on HMAS Kuttabul in Potts Point and has been the site of a naval base since ****. It is home to the Fleet Support Unit South-East (FSU-SE) which conducts maintenance on ships and submarines. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation & underwater medical, outpatients, nursing, dental, mental health, pharmaceutical and physiotherapy services to the ADF population. This mid-size centre has up to 4,500 members and provides services for overseas visiting personnel. Standard operating hours are ********* Monday-Friday.
