Job Title: HGV Technician at hgvtraders
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated HGV Technician to join our team at hgvtraders. As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsibly.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out repairs to a high standard according to Volvo procedures, safely and responsibly
* Assist in the fault diagnosis process
* Service Customer Vehicles and complete service sheets.
* Road test vehicles when required (if you hold an HGV license)
* Assist with roadside breakdowns.
* Process all relevant paperwork relating to jobs accurately
* Ensure all vehicle defects are reported
* Keep all workshop facilities, equipment, and tools clean, tidy and well maintained
* Help us in supporting the development of trainees and apprentices
About You
We are looking for someone who holds a Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and has previous experience working on HGV's or has completed an apprenticeship in the HGV industry.
