**Your field of responsibility**
The role of the Portfolio Analyst is to support the Australian Investment team in the management of multi-asset, multi-billion-dollar mandates, via trade construction, performance reporting and overall, by assisting the portfolio managers in monitoring portfolio risk exposures and responding to internal and external requests for information.
You will participate in investment analysis and research, with a focus on equities or bonds and multi-asset class investing, guided by the Credit Suisse Global Investment Committee's investment process. You will provide insights and if appropriate, recommendations with respect to portfolio construction, with reference to exposures via managed funds, passive vehicles, and direct securities.

The Portfolio Management team sits within Credit Suisse Wealth Management and manages portfolios on a discretionary basis for private clients, including High and Ultra-High Net-Worth Individuals, not for profits and small to medium institutions. Our Portfolio Management services combine local expertise with our access to global research, global products and global expertise to deliver quality wealth management solutions. Our portfolios are backed by a structured advisory process which develops an understanding of client needs and risk profile to develop investable portfolio solutions.

**Your skills and experience**
- Strong attention to detail and initiative
- Advanced quantitative skills
- Knowledge of risk management and risk budgeting in an overall portfolio management context
- Circa 5 years' experience in related analytical role at a fund manager, research house, investment bank or similar employer
- University degree in economics, econometrics, maths, finance, or related discipline
- Genuine interest and curiosity in financial markets and portfolio management
- Experience writing macros in excel is desirable
- Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders across a number of different teams, as well as work independently
