Responsibilities (Text Only)
1. Data Center Operations
o Ensure compliance with data center business units and service-level policies for Edge Critical Environments (CE).
o Engage with appropriate teams and resources to execute CE tasks or projects.
o Manage CE programs associated with the area of responsibility.
o Review and advise on Edge contract processes, contract language, and supporting documentation.
o Deliver new Edge Data Centers in collaboration with partners by providing onsite expertise and reviews.
o Follow and adhere to safety and security policies and procedures; report issues immediately.
o Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes as appropriate.
2. Service Delivery
o Maximize Critical Environment (CE) availability in collaboration with landlord partners at Edge facilities.
o Oversee day-to-day operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in leased Data Centers (including MOP/SOP/EOP review, RCAs, FMEAs, change governance, and risk mitigation).
o Reduce high-impact and human-error related CE incidents year over year.
o Act as an escalation point for facilities-related issues within leased data centers.
o Coordinate, plan, schedule, and supervise on-premises CE audits and compliance verifications.
o Ensure delivery and review of routine reports to manage Power, Temperature, Relative Humidity, and SLA metrics.
o Establish and strengthen relationships with Engineering Groups and landlord partners.
o Collaborate with regional and global peers to share best practices across the EDGE portfolio.
3. Data Center Work Environment
o Share best CE practices and assist others in learning roles, processes, and procedures.
o Mentor colleagues in CE-specific expertise.
o Seek training opportunities aligned with business needs and personal career goals.
o Suggest ways to reduce maintenance risks and improve implementation based on expertise.
o Contribute to a positive team environment by adopting best practices.
o Participate constructively in team meetings and cross-disciplinary collaborations.
4. Ownership
o Hold self-accountable for service quality, completeness, and customer experience, including availability, safety, security, and customer service.
o Support escalation procedures by directing issues to appropriate owners.

Qualifications (Text Only)
Required Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or equivalent AND 2+ years industry experience in a data center or critical environment facility, OR
* 3+ years industry experience with college coursework.
Background Check Requirements include security screenings such as Microsoft Cloud Background Check, Citizenship Verification (Australian Citizenship required), and possible NV1/2 or PV Clearance assessments.
Preferred Qualifications:
* 3+ years’ experience in Critical Environment infrastructures (e.g., UPS, Generator, AHU) or IT infrastructures (e.g., Servers, SANs, Networking).
* Bachelor’s Degree or Technical College certification in mechanical or electrical engineering/services.
* Experience working on large-scale CE projects.
* Experience with IT infrastructure operations (Servers, SANs, Networking, etc.).
