Job Title: Payroll Accountant
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Payroll Accountant to join our innovative organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the business and drive positive change.
Key Responsibilities
1. Payroll Information Management: Manage payroll processes, ensuring accurate and timely payment for employees. Maintain comprehensive payroll records and oversee payment approvals.
2. Financial Record Reconciliation: Collaborate with the Payroll department to reconcile financial records related to a project. Align project expenses with payroll data to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
3. Labour GAP Analysis: Analyse day-to-day labour GAP analysis, comparing planned versus actual labour performance. Optimise production activities to maximise efficiency.
4. Labour Forecast and Control: Assist in labour forecasting, providing valuable support in determining the optimal workforce required for upcoming projects. Contribute to effective labour cost control and resource allocation.
5. Financial Reports and Labour Accruals: Prepare weekly and monthly labour accruals, providing insights into labour performance and contributing to the overall financial success of our organisation.
6. In-Depth Analysis and Insights: Deliver detailed analysis on labour performance, empowering local and senior management to make informed decisions and identify areas for improvement and growth.
About You
* Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited institution and a minimum of three years of relevant Payroll experience.
* Accounting background with proven experience in Payroll & Cashbook Reconciliation.
* Strong excel skills (pivot tables/V-look ups) for data coordination and analysis.
* Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy are essential for success in this role.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to listen, interact, and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
* Exceptional analytical ability with a clear understanding of the impact of decision-making on business outcomes.
* Structured and logical approach to work, capable of managing multiple deadlines and working well under pressure.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking initiative and driving results.
