This pivotal leadership role will provide strategic, clinical, and operational oversight across maternity and gynaecology services, ensuring the delivery of safe, high-quality care aligned with community needs and health service priorities.

* Providing strategic and clinical leadership across obstetrics and gynaecology services, ensuring alignment with organisational values and strategic objectives.
* Leading workforce development, fostering a culture of excellence, interdisciplinary collaboration, and continuous improvement.
* Overseeing clinical governance frameworks that ensure safety, quality, and responsiveness to patient needs.
* Delivering clinical services, including participation in after‐hours and weekend on‐call rosters
* Driving education, training, and research initiatives to strengthen professional practice and patient outcomes.
* Championing innovation in service delivery, including outreach and specialist clinics for diverse community needs.
About you
We are seeking a motivated and experienced leader with:
* Fellowship with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (or equivalent), and eligibility for specialist registration with AHPRA.
* Demonstrated senior leadership experience in obstetrics and gynaecology, with a track record in strategic planning, clinical governance, and workforce development.
* Strong commitment to patient safety, service quality, and evidence‐based care.
* High‐level communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster collaboration and resolve complex issues.
* Proven capability to lead research, evaluation, and service innovation initiatives.
* Understanding of and commitment to diversity, equity, and culturally responsive care.
