Ongoing fulltime role at 35 hours per week plus FlexTime Sydney Office location & Hybrid working from home and office supported Salary range from $113,574 to $125,720 plus super and leave loading A recruitment pool may be created for ongoing and temporary opportunities of the same role or role type that may become available over the next 18 months. About the Opportunity This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to workforce projects within EnergyCo’s Organisational Effectiveness and Culture team. As the Workforce Project Officer, you’ll provide coordination and day-to-day support across establishment management, organisational design and workforce initiatives. You’ll help maintain accurate workforce and establishment data, support governance and delegation processes, and assist with project documentation, role descriptions, reporting and stakeholder engagement. Working in an evolving environment, this role offers exposure to strategic workforce activities and the opportunity to support meaningful organisational change. About You You’re organised, detail-focused and enjoy supporting work that keeps teams running smoothly. You have experience providing administrative, operational and project support and are comfortable preparing accurate documentation, triaging requests and working with workforce data, systems and processes. You communicate clearly, take a proactive approach and work well with a range of stakeholders, using sound judgement when handling sensitive information and knowing when to seek advice or escalate issues. You’re confident using Microsoft Office and bring a positive, flexible approach to your work. Experience in a government or similar environment, along with exposure to HR information systems or job evaluation methodologies, is a plus. The Energy Corporation of NSW (EnergyCo) is a statutory corporation established under the Energy and Utilities Administration Act 1987 and governed by its Board, appointed by the Minister for Energy. EnergyCo is a Staff Agency employing all EnergyCo staff and is an agency related to the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW). EnergyCo plays a pivotal role in the NSW Government’s Electricity Infrastructure Roadmap, which aims to transform the state’s electricity system into one that is affordable, clean, and reliable. As Infrastructure Planner under the Electricity Infrastructure Investment Act 2020, EnergyCo is responsible for leading the delivery of the State’s first five Renewable Energy Zones (REZs) and the first two priority transmission infrastructure projects (PTIPs), which are located in the Central-West Orana, New England, South West, Hunter-Central Coast, and Illawarra regions. We work closely with communities, investors, and industry to investigate, plan, recommend and coordinate generation, storage and network infrastructure projects.
