Primary objective
Provide management, coordination and specialised advice relating to the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of client-centered business
systems training and support services.
Key duties and responsibilities
1. Lead the development, implementation and ongoing improvement of standards and frameworks for the design and delivery of training and
support services.
2. Manage the creation, maintenance and continuous enhancement of training resources, support materials, and knowledge assets.
3. Oversee the design, development, delivery, and maintenance of engaging and effective eLearning courses and digital learning solutions.
4. Build and maintain strong client stakeholder relationships to identify, assess, and respond to training and support needs.
1. Lead, coach, and manage a team responsible for developing innovative training programs and self-service support materials.
2. Provide advice on best-practice approaches to the design, delivery and evaluation of online learning and self-help support solutions.
3. Provide advice on training priorities and strategies that will improve the delivery of training and support services.
4. Support continuous improvement and a client-centered approach to service delivery.
5. Project manages the development and implementation of Training team initiatives.
6. Develop communication and engagement plans to ensure stakeholders are actively engaged and kept well informed of any developments in
training and support services.
11. Follow defined service quality standards, work health and safety policies and procedures relating to the work being undertaken to ensure
high quality, safe services, and workplaces.
Selection criteria
Essential
1. Experience in designing, developing, implementing and evaluating training and support services.
1. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in delivering training and support services across complex business systems.
2. Experience in effectively managing projects.
3. Demonstrated ability in effectively managing a team by applying contemporary management practices.
4. Highly developed analytical, communication, interpersonal, negotiation and collaboration skills with the ability to interact effectively with
people from diverse cultures.
1. Strong writing skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
2. Demonstrated results-focused approach, with a proven ability to identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement through
innovation, feedback, evaluation and data-driven decision-making.
8. Demonstrated work ethic and attitude which emulates DCIS values of being professional, accountable, honest, innovative and respectful.
Desirable
1. Relevant Tertiary and ITIL qualifications.
1. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or similar.
2. Experience using Technical Writing Software and in tools to create eLearning courses and Learning Management Systems.
