Overview
The Role: Our rotational program offers early career occupational therapists the chance to gain experience across acute, sub-acute and community settings, with high quality supervision and regular professional development. You will be welcomed by peers from across Australia who now call Hobart home and have access to senior occupational therapists and clinical leads to support your career progression.
Occupational Therapists who are graduating in 2025, through to those with several years of experience are encouraged to apply. If you are within your first year of graduation, you’ll be eligible to join our Allied Health Graduate Program, offering interprofessional learning, peer support and mentoring opportunities.

Details of appointment
Permanent full-time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Hours may be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary and benefits
Salary: $73,834 to $111,364 per annum. Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022.
Salary Packaging: You’ll have access to salary packaging for a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

Eligibility
Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.
- Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Occupational Board of Australia
- Registered with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia
Registration/licences that are essential requirements must remain current and valid at all times; you are responsible for ensuring they remain current and advising the Employer if circumstances change. This includes notifying the Employer if a registration/licence is revoked, cancelled or has its conditions altered.
