We are seeking an experienced maintenance officer to ensure our clients' hotel facilities are well-maintained, safe and functional. In this role you will be responsible for providing minor maintenance to site infrastructure and buildings, including any day‑to‑day troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
* Maintain tidiness and presentation of the hotel
* Respond quickly and professionally to reports of leaks, breakages and other items not functioning
* Perform incidental maintenance repairs in rooms, amenities and other facilities
* Provide incidental customer service assistance with in‑room repairs
* Liaise with other departments to ensure the efficient completion of maintenance tasks
About You
* Self‑motivated, a problem solver and well organised
* Trade qualifications are advantageous, but not essential
* Previous experience in building and facility maintenance
* Have flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays
* A strong background in property maintenance and power tool use
* Great time management and attention to detail
* A friendly, guest‑focused attitude and strong communication skills
* Ability to work independently and under pressure with a "hands on" work history
* An ability to follow direction related to daily tasks and expectations
* Knowledge and understanding of safe working procedures
