Senior Practitioner | Family Relationship Centre | Maroochydore
* Employment Term: Permanent Full-Time (76 hours per fortnight)
* Location: Maroochydore
* Remuneration: $55.72 per hour + Super + NFP Salary Packaging (save tax and increase your take home pay)
Responsibilities
* Assist the Local Service Manager with oversight of the Family and Relationship Centre and Family Dispute Resolution Programs.
* Provide practice supervision to a team of Child and Family Practitioners, including oversight of child inclusive practice, case management, debriefing, and professional supervision.
* Support case management, suitability assessments, and facilitate dispute resolution for families.
* Contribute to practitioner professional development.
* When assessing relationships and suitability for family dispute resolution, consider the needs of all parties, especially children, and issues such as violence and power imbalance.
Qualifications
* Relevant tertiary degree in Social Work, Psychology, Law, Behavioural Science, or related field.
* Minimum 3 years' experience working with vulnerable individuals, children and families (desirable).
* Accreditation as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner with the Federal Attorney-General's Department.
* Willingness to undergo a personal history check under the Child Protection Act 1999.
* Current Queensland Driver's Licence.
* Working with Children Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
* Expert communication and strong negotiation skills.
* Demonstrated knowledge of and compliance with the Family Law Act 1975 and related regulations.
