We have a great chance for an enthusiastic CSSD Sterilisation Technician to join our clinical team on a casual basis. Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday shifts available.
Responsibilities
Clean, sterilise, inspect and package surgical instruments
Ensure all sterilising standards and infection control measures are adhered to
Manage documentation
Ensure equipment and stock are available for perioperative staff
Promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence across the hospital
About You
Cert III or Cert IV in Sterilising Services
Proven experience in a hospital CSSD workplace
Knowledge of sterilisation procedures and practices
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Sound working knowledge of AS 5369:2023 and Infection Control standards
Demonstrated ability to organise the sterilisation needs of the operating and procedure room requirements
