About the opportunity:
Our client is looking for a Senior Litigator (ideally 4+ years PAE).
This is a role for someone who enjoys owning matters, thinking strategically, and building trusted relationships with clients.
You will report to a senior Partner in a small, high-performing team (supported by two Associates) and take hands-on ownership of matters.
You’ll work across a diverse range of disputes, which may include:
* Contract and commercial disputes (including urgent interlocutory work)
* Shareholder/director issues and business break-down disputes
* Misleading and deceptive conduct / ACL-related disputes
* Confidentiality restraints, employment-related disputes and enforcement
* IP/content/tech-adjacent matters (e.g., brand, copyright, digital issues)
* Court work including directions hearings, evidence prep, and briefing counsel
You will benefit from close senior mentorship, exposure to cutting-edge matters, and the ability to focus on high-quality work rather than tracked hours.

Key Requirements:
* 4+ years PAE in commercial litigation/dispute resolution (boutique or mid/top tier)
* Confident running matters end-to-end: pleadings, evidence, strategy and advice
* Court exposure (or strong interest) including interlocutories and directions hearings
* Strong drafting skills and ability to simplify complex issues for clients
* Comfortable briefing and instructing counsel, and collaborating with a lean team
* Proactive, calm under pressure, and genuinely client-focused
