Senior Security Engineer This is a rare hands‐on engineering role with real breadth, spanning identity, endpoint, SIEM and data protection, combined with the advisory and architecture influence to shape how security is delivered.Your focus will span across four core areas: Identity & Access Management Design and manage Microsoft Entra ID, including Conditional Access policies, PIM/PAM, MFA and RBAC.Drive identity governance across the enterprise, embedding Zero Trust principles at scale.Ensure consistent identity standards across the organisation.Endpoint Protection and Incident Response Own endpoint protection and compliance using Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Intune across Windows and macOS environments.Lead endpoint‐related incident response, device hardening and vulnerability remediation.Security Analytics and Threat Hunting Architect and continuously improve Microsoft Sentinel: workspace design, data connectors, analytics rules, KQL queries and SOAR playbooks.Lead threat hunting and incident investigations end‐to‐end, from detection through to containment and post‐incident review.Data Protection & DLP Design and implement Data Loss Prevention policies and information protection frameworks within Microsoft Purview.Govern data classification and enforce compliance controls across M365 and the broader enterprise environment.Alongside hands‐on delivery, you'll contribute to architecture reviews, advise stakeholders across the business, and help lift security maturity.What we're looking for: Deep, hands‐on experience with the Microsoft 365 security stack: Entra ID, Sentinel, Defender, Purview and Intune.Strong identity and access management background: conditional Access, PIM/PAM, MFA and RBAC at enterprise scale.Expert‐level Microsoft Sentinel skills: workspace architecture, KQL, analytics rules and SOAR integration.Demonstrated Microsoft Purview experience covering DLP, information protection and data classification.Solid endpoint security expertise across Defender for Endpoint and Intune.Comfortable operating across both hands‐on engineering and stakeholder‐facing advisory work.Grounding in security frameworks: NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Benchmarks and the ACSC Essential Eight.CISSP, SC‐200, SC‐100 or equivalent certifications highly regarded.What's on offer: Competitive remuneration.A genuine career path platform.Flexible, collaborative working environment based in Perth.Study assistance and strong commitment to professional development.This role is being managed exclusively through RONIN, so for a confidential conversation, please apply now and we'll be in touch!#J-18808-Ljbffr
