Our client, Wassmuth Automotive Pty Ltd, is seeking for suitably qualified and experienced Motor Mechanics to join their business on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out servicing, diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of light motor vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications and industry standards
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using appropriate diagnostic tools and equipment
* Perform a wide range of mechanical repairs including engines, gearboxes, brakes, clutches, suspension, steering, and cooling systems
* Conduct testing, adjustments, and replacement of defective or worn components to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy
* Accurately complete job cards, service records, and related documentation
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
* Comply with workplace health and safety requirements at all times
* Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding work requirements and progress
Requirements
* Minimum three (3) years of relevant post-qualification work experience as a Motor Mechanic
* Demonstrated experience working on light motor vehicles
* Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and fault-finding skills
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
* High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
