Family Violence Counsellor Opportunity
Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to join our team as a family violence counsellor. This role will involve providing specialist psychological services and support to children and young people who have experienced trauma.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver developmentally appropriate psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions to clients.
* Conduct thorough case management, including referrals to relevant agencies.
* Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs for clients.
Required Qualifications and Skills
* Tertiary qualification in psychology or a related field approved by the Psychology Board of Australia.
* Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia.
* Working with Children Registration.
* Current Driver's Licence.
Desirable Criteria
* Registered Psychologist with membership eligibility of the Australian Psychological Society and relevant clinical experience in the human services sector.
