Maxima, in partnership with Australia Post, are looking for motivated individuals to undertake a part time traineeship as a Postal Services Officer.
This rewarding entry level opportunity is designed to give you practical on-the-job experience whilst receiving paid study leave to obtain a nationally recognised Certificate III in Business.
Australia Post have approximately 4,400 stores across regional and metropolitan areas, making them home to around one million customers. In your role as a Trainee Postal Services Officer, you will be involved in a range of key activities assisting to connect customers every day.
Duties Include:
Perform customer sales and service transactions
Process sales transactions through EFTPOS and cash handling
Accept mail items for lodgement and calculate relevant charges
Prepare outward mail for dispatch and cancellation of stamps
Additional administrative duties including stocktake and record maintenance
Role Requirements:
Can lift upto 16kg and stand on a repetitive basis
Ability to work across various shifts and locations
Passionate about providing high quality customer service
Thrives working within a fast-paced setting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Satisfactorily pass a pre-employment assessment, including a drug and alcohol test
