Job Overview:
The Nurse Practitioner plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with medical staff to assess and manage various patient populations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide direct care, counseling, and teaching to patients in ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and procedural settings
* Conduct comprehensive histories and physical examinations, interpreting and evaluating laboratory and diagnostic test results
* Develop and implement appropriate plans of care, following up on diagnostic, laboratory, and physical examination findings
* Ensure timely and accurate documentation, including admission and progress notes, procedure notes, operative notes, and discharge summaries
* Perform bedside procedures as necessary, ordering medications and writing prescriptions according to organizational and regulatory policies and procedures
Education and Qualifications:
* Master's Degree in Nursing required
* Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certification preferred
* 0-1 year of experience as a nurse practitioner preferred
